Today we docked in the German town of Briesch. We basically drove through the town and got on the autobahn to head into the forest. Lots of towns long the way grew grapes, vegetables, and flowers. They had boxes to put money in if you went into their fields and harvested yourself. We stopped Ina town at the highest point in our little journey (about 3,350 ft. ) that sold cookoo clocks and had beautiful glass. We walked up into the forest and had crazy good Black Forest cake As we headed back we went through what they call the Valley of Hell, it had huge rocks that before the gorgeous highways of today would have been a risky pass.
Back on the boat for lunch and then 4 locks to get to Basel.
