This morning we went by bus to Marksburg Castle, built in the 12th century. This picture above is from the castle, what a view! This castle had a bathroom and refrigerator, not bad for medieval times.
Most of the day was spent on deck castle watching. There were tons of beautiful castles and small towns. The pictures just don't do it justice. By early evening we made it to Rudesheim, which is a very quaint town full of restaurants, shops and hotels. Stayed up late to watch the US lose to Belguim, enjoyed watching with a new British friend.
