Left the boat this morning about 9:00. It was about a 25 minute walk to our hotel, where we got directions to a laundry mat. This is not a huge tourist city, at least not for English speakers. The lady spoke no English and our French was not so good, so we had no idea how much the laundry was going to cost when we left. Only that we needed to be back to pick it up at 3:00. Then we headed to the train station and bought our tickets for Lucerne in the morning. Oh, one big perk here is that the hotels gives each guest a free bus and tram pass for as long as they stay. So...we have used the tram to go all over. We are not far from the Marketplatz, they set up a farmers market today and so we had some really good cherries for lunch. The pictures above are of this area.
This evening we went back to the market and found some tomatoes and mozzarella with a hunk of bread and had a little dinner on the steps of the Rhine. There were a bunch of folks swimming or rather floating down the Rhine. They would float down, get out and then walk back up and go again.
